Abstract

 In ancient times there was a famous saying that “Teachers are born, they are not created.” But even this idea is considered, then too it will not fulfill the requirement of teachers in the society. And for this reason trainees need to be given efficient training in the field of teaching. In those colleges where this training would be imparted, it is very important to know the actual situation of these colleges where not only would they be given efficient training but would also be declared qualified teachers. In order to know the actual status of Government aided degree colleges, the researcher has made use of self- made questionnaire and essential research activities. With the help of the figures obtained by the research activities it has been proven that the actual situation in government aided degree colleges of Garhwal division of Uttarakhand state is normal.
