POLICE PERSONNEL AND THEIR SOCIO-ECONOMIC CONDITIONS

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present the qualitative analysis of police personnel and their perception about socio-economic conditions. It needs to explore the facilitating and hindering factors, the police experiences with these families. The police themselves are the key players in maintaining or restoring police integrity. The police shall be an independent organ of the Executive and shall be subject to the direction of the courts and bound by their orders. All police officials are part of, and have a duty to serve the community. The police forces are highly disciplined, dedicated, devoted and conscientious towards their duties. Indeed, the police forces have proven to be an asset to the nation in times of disturbances, both internal as well as external. The present paper aims to find out various factors of socio-economic having positive impact on the development of family and society as well as police department. The major aim of this study is to investigate how police personnel survive and cope with all the problems and challenges.
