LOCUS OF CONTROL ASDETERMINANTOF DEATHANXIETYAMONG THE GERIATRIC POPULATION

Abstract

The present study is designed to understand the impact of Locus of Control as determinant of death anxiety among 175 geriatric Population were selected from the Coimbatore District of Tamilnaduusing simple random sampling technique.Two standardized and revalidated psychological tools namely the Locus of Control Scale by Levenson (1973) and DeathanxietydevelopedbyThorsonJ.A.,PowellF.C. (1994) wereused.Resultsindicatethatthere is a relationship exist between Locus of Control upontheirdeathanxiety.
