Abstract

Most of the road accident causes are related to the individual driver behavior. A comprehensive estimation system is built to assess the driving behavior. The reason and result between the driver and the road accident is investigated to find out the reasons and the possibilities of developing a relationship in the form of the model. The model is built using PCA technique to identify and for grouping the factors. the sub factors weights are checked with AHP and BWM technique. Each sub factor value is assessed with factor analysis using regression technique. Then comprehensive analysis is made for each factor. Driving behavior index is formulated. Verification method is used to check the efficacy of the model

Key words: PCA, AHP, BWM, driver behavior, accident, road safety.
