A STUDY OF ROLE OF EFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP ON EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT IN ACADEMIC MANAGEMENT INSTITUTIONS (WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO PRIVATE MANAGEMENT INSTITUTES IN BAREILLY DISTRICT)
Abstract
The paper endeavors to put emphasis on the need of effective leaders in a Private management, academic institution, where the clients are challenging and simultaneously demanding students. At one side, the quality of students in terms of employability is being questioned, which further puts a question mark on the efficiency and effectiveness of faculty members .This paper encompasses various aspects which faculty members look forward in their leaders. The sample of 81 faculty members has been taken from the Bareilly District and through the t-test analysis of various factors undertaken is done. Also pictorial presentation has been used to show the percentage of responses of the faculty members regarding their perceived leaders. The relevant suggestions have been given at the end in view of an attempt to encourage enhancement in leadership effectiveness to make faculty members engaged.
