Abstract

The new assessment system for higher education institutions in India, as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. We  Explained the objectives, challenges, accountability and benefits of the new assessment system, and how it will leverage the potential of technology and artificial intelligence, open educational resources and open access publishing, and student data protection. I also gave examples, challenges and benefits of various aspects of the new assessment system, such as artificial intelligence-based software, open educational resources, open access publications, and student data privacy and security. I also gave an abstract or brief summary and a conclusion of the entire explanation. I tried to provide an informative and comprehensive overview of the new assessment system and its implications for higher education in India.
