Abstract

Electronic accounts on social networking sites are considered one of the important topics that have gained wide resonance in their spread in our modern world due to their importance and the large number of users. These electronic accounts have become used in all areas of life, and there has become electronic commerce, selling electronic accounts, and selling electronic accounts themselves, which enhances their importance in light of this remarkable and widespread development, electronic accounts have become of great importance Because through them they can generate tens of thousands of dollars or tens of millions of dollars for their users due to the fame of these accounts and their high financial value. The more financial value there is for these accounts, the more they become a commodity that can be sold or disposed of. With other actions by transferring it from one user to another. Perhaps what raises the problem of its transfer is that the extent to which the companies provide the service to which the electronic accounts are linked allow it to be transferred from one user to another. Therefore, after clarifying the legal definition of this relationship as a usufruct relationship in light of the Iraqi legislation and laws Therefore, the usufruct right gives its owner the authority to use, exploit, and dispose of it. The user of the electronic account can transfer it from one user to another. Also, under American legislation, it is digital property. The user of this property can transfer it from one person to another. All of this is done by obtaining permission from the company providing the service and from then transfer these accounts from one user to another.
