Abstract

The main goal of this paper is to analyze the abstracts of 998 KCI (Korea Citation Index) articles published from 1990 to 2023 regarding big data. A point to note is that the eight-noun sentence and the seven-noun sentence have got the highest frequency (848) among 8,106 nouns that occurred in 998 abstracts. A major point of this paper is that topic 9 was the most widely used, followed by topic 1, topic 12, and topic 19, in descending order. A further point to note is that the noun datum was the most frequently used, followed by the noun analysis, the noun study, and the noun result, in that order. With respect to the word cloud of 998 abstracts, it is worthwhile pointing out that the noun datum is the biggest among key words. This in turn indicates that the word datum is the most significant one as well as the most occurred one. Finally, this paper argues that the words analysis, addition, management, paper, network, Korea, platform, system, research, study, information, development, etc. are linked to the word datum within two-stage links. Each n-clique forms a cluster by grouping related words within two-stage links.
