EMERGENCE OF TALENT ANALYTICS IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
Abstract
This research paper investigates the pivotal role of talent analytics within Human Resource Management (HRM) and explores the challenges encountered by HR Managers in its implementation. Utilizing a quantitative research methodology, the study examines the significance of talent analytics in informing decision-making, optimizing workforce planning, identifying high-potential employees, aligning HR strategies with organizational goals, and impacting employee retention and engagement initiatives. Findings reveal a substantial role for talent analytics in enhancing HR practices, indicating its potential as a transformative tool for organizations seeking strategic HRM. However, the study also identifies challenges such as the need for substantial technological investment, data management complexities, employee resistance to data-driven decision-making, integration hurdles, and skill gaps among HR staff in talent analytics utilization. Addressing these challenges is crucial for effective implementation. The paper concludes by outlining implications for HR practice and suggests avenues for future research in this domain.
