Abstract

This study delves into the critical domain of work-life balance among female teaching professionals within management colleges. With increasing recognition of the gender disparities pervasive in academia, particularly in management education, this research investigates the intricate dynamics that influence the equilibrium between professional commitments and personal life among women educators.

The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews, to comprehensively examine the multifaceted facets of work-life balance. It assesses the impact of factors such as workload, support systems, and institutional policies on the work-life experiences of female teaching professionals.

Findings from this study provide valuable insights into the challenges faced by female teaching professionals, revealing how imbalances can lead to job dissatisfaction, burnout, and impede career advancement. The study also scrutinizes the role of supportive environments, both within and outside the workplace, in fostering better work-life harmony.

Understanding the nuanced complexities of work-life balance among female teaching professionals in management colleges is crucial for promoting gender equality in academia. The research contributes to the discourse on gender disparities in educational institutions and offers recommendations for creating inclusive policies and support systems that can enhance the well-being and career prospects of women educators.
