Abstract

The following is a study of the water samples collected specifically from Marhaura sub-division, Saran district, Bihar. The tests include the analysis and evaluation of the taste, odor, pH, conductivity, TDS Value, alkalinity as well as dissolved sulphate, phosphate, nitrate, and chlorides. Most values of the tested parameters ranged above that what is mentioned safe by WHO. The higher rankings of these valuations simply imply health hazards if consumed directly by the respective masses of the area. It is suggested to treat the water of the specified area by proper methods so that it becomes safe for consumption. All in all, the following study is done to raise the awareness of the people of the respective area regarding their concern for the quality of water they consume and use.
