A STUDY ON GREEN HRM TECHNIQUES AND ITS IMPACT ON EMPLOYEE’S BEHAVIOUR IN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SECTOR
Abstract
This empirical study investigates the influence of Green Human Resource Management (HRM) techniques on employees' Behavior in IT Sector. It explores the adoption of environmentally sustainable HR practices within the IT sector and their effect on employee behaviour. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study employs surveys and interviews to gather data, revealing a significant correlation between the implementation of Green HRM practices and positive changes in employees' behaviour, including heightened environmental awareness and commitment to eco-friendly initiatives. The findings highlight the potential for Green HRM techniques to promote sustainability and enhance organizational performance within IT Sector. These findings offer valuable insights for IT Sector aiming to improve their environmental performance while positively influencing their workforce's behaviour. The study contributes to the evolving discourse on sustainable HRM practices and their implications for businesses striving to balance economic growth with environmental responsibility, making it especially relevant in today's global sustainability landscape.
