Abstract

Recent research rarely identifies successes and supportive mechanisms for the inclusive growth of disabled people in the development of entrepreneurship, particularly for disabled entrepreneurs who are advancing through creative endeavors. This article examines the experiences of a woman with special needs who started a successful business in the Indian state of Kerala and shares their success story. Data were gathered from the respondents using a triangulation technique to determine the characteristics and abilities of such an entrepreneur. The data were then analyzed using a thematic analysis approach. The purpose of this study is to provide a success story from such an amazing persona to encourage and assist entrepreneurs with disabilities.  The examination of this little-known subject contributes to the improvement of the philosophy underlying the process of creating value in the lives of people with disabilities worldwide and provides fascinating new insights into the extraordinary success of a woman entrepreneur with a disability. Specifically, this research analyzed and discovered their self-developed mechanisms—"congruent" in venture creation, "adaptability" in the adoption process to change, "determination" in the positive mindset, "inclusiveness" in the high degree of positivity, and "game changer" innovation—to create inclusive and sustainable business models. These findings differ from those of previous studies.
